The Bay Nursing Home has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is located in the beautiful coastal town of Tywyn, a seaside resort on the Cardigan Bay coast of Mid Wales.
Our aims and objectives are to provide Residential and Nursing care, comfort, and consideration to all our Service Users and to create a relaxed friendly atmosphere with the security and peace of mind which comes from knowing that help is always on hand when needed.
Dignity and independence are respected and promoted at all times and our residents treat The Bay Nursing Home as their own. We believe in providing care that is centred around our members
We believe that each of our members is a special and deserving individual. We therefore provide individualised care tailored to the person’s preferences, strengths and abilities, whilst providing independence and stimulation, both mental and physical.
All staff are trained to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all our residents within a warm and caring environment. In doing so, we are sensitive to the Service User’s ever changing needs.
At The Bay Nursing Home we encourage all of our residents to continue in their interests. We record these and endeavour the residents to have access to these special interests. We also manage to come together in small groups for activities most afternoons including singing, arts & crafts, card and board games and much more.

The Bay is a fantastic home care is exceptional. The love and warmth that is felt as soon as you enter from all the staff and management is remarkable.
The choice of different rooms is wonderful with a bar area, 1950’s lounge and soon to be cinema room is a brilliant idea. As I walked round I could see how happy all the service users were.
The Bay looked beautiful with all it’s decorations up and it;s nativity scene.

My Mother arrived just a short time ago, although I have my Mother-in-law residing at The Bay for the last 7 years. My Mother’s transition was done very fast and she has settled in well. The Bay has various lounges which are very nice and there has been a lot of effort in making the clients home lovely. I am learning the staff’s names but find them to be very friendly and kind. My interest is to be that both my Mother and Mother-in-law are cared for and are happy, as much as they can be in their health with dementia.
